John Noblitt, former Vice President, was voted in as President with the retirement of long time President Edwin Pieper. John Wade, former Treasurer, was voted in as Vice President. Louie Allstott was voted in to remain as Secretary. And Thomas Lamb was voted in as Treasurer. At the first meeting in December, newly appointed board member by the Dubois County Council, Tim Friedman, was welcomed. A total of 167 new residential customers now have access to a safe, clean and reliable source of water thanks to an OCRA grant and a loan from USDA Rural Development. In addition to the new retail customers, another wholesale water connection has been installed and connected to Posey Township Water. This additional supply will enable them to receive all of their water needs from the District.</p>

Final meters are being dropped in and turned on. The booster station is up and running and the tank is full. Everyone signed up for phase VII meters should have water or be getting it very shortly. Cleanup of the construction right-of-way is ongoing, slowed by wet weather. Expect cleanup and seeding to be complete by the end of July. Paving of the Valeene Road has started. It should be completed by mid July.
