FLUSHING

Patoka Lake Regional Water and Sewer District flush the water lines twice a year to remove sediment that may have accumulated.  While we are flushing in your area you may experience low pressure or no water between the hours of 8am and 3pm Monday thru Friday during the specific period.  You will be notified of the specific period via automated phone message.  Please check your water before washing clothes as there may be a slight discoloration of the water that could cause whites to be tinged slightly grey.  Let the water run into a glass first to be sure it is clear.  The water is safe for all other uses during this time.  A helpful hint is to keep a couple of gallons set aside to use during this time.  If you have another other questions about flushing, feel free to give us a call at 812-678-8300.
